Friday

Well I finally did it. I wrote my To Do List for America. Yes I did it while I was at work.. which was naughty.. but I was in the ‘zone’ and running with my organised flow.

I blurred most of the list out.... because certain things like *buy a new bra* etc etc, don’t really need to be plastered on my blog :P
Surprise, surprise! The list wasn’t nearly as daunting as I thought it was going to be, I actually don’t have TOO much to do.. even managed to tick a few things off the list in the space of a few minutes.
So I'm feeling back in control and ready for these next few weeks to hurry up, so I can board that plane and settle in for the long flight... after I buy a new bra of course :P

In other news...Jacob seems to be doing just fine after his good night's sleep. I think a restful weekend is just the ticket for him to make sure he doesn't get too overtired, and unwell again. He's a strong little soldier.
We had a little party at work this afternoon, to celebrate one of our team who I think is from Sri Lanka.. but don't quote me on that, I could be totally wrong... but he received his residency this week and he wanted to treat us all to a little party to celebrate the wonderful news. He is such a lovely man, so gentle and kind... it was really nice to enjoy celebrating with him.
Cheers!

Our Financial Controller on the left, the party boy 'New Aussie Resident' in the middle, our Maintenance Man on the right.

I have to say, our FC (on the left), is one of the nicest men you'll ever meet. The way he views life, the way he is kind and respectful of everyone he comes into contact with, the time he gives you when you need it.... I learn so much from him. I feel very lucky to work in a place with people who have such great character.
I'll finish with some photos I took while driving to work...

I love driving past this stretch of land on my way to work... it's beautiful.

I also love driving through this part... it's so peaceful, with beautiful trees lining the roads..

And of course, you all know how much I love the good old 'car mirror shot'! That view right?! Isn't it stunning?

Today was a very good day...and a good finish to a VERY busy week. I'm looking forward to crawling into bed, reading for a bit and then having an early night. Bring on the weekend, a very relaxing one with my boys!

Good night my friends :)

Great news about your To Do list, I'm sure you feel much more in control now! Also good news about Jacob feeling much better :-)

Congrats to your team member on his Aussie residency!
