The lovely Claire and baby Hannah.
I met Claire after she started her new job at Cumberland, where I used to work a few years before. Our paths crossed when I did some work for Cumberland and we formed a bond straight away :) Since then, we've been close email buddies :) Claire moved to Sydney a number of months ago, and we've enjoyed staying in close email contact ever since. She was over in Perth with her husband visiting family and friends, and due to me getting sick last week it was looking like we weren't going to be able to catch up ... but then, due to a very unfortunate series of events, Claire and her husband extended their visit. But the silver lining, was that we were able to have a lovely catch up this morning :)
Lewy and I don't tend to celebrate Valentine's Day... not because we are unromantic, but because for us, whenever we get the opportunity any time throughout the year, we try to organise romantic nights out and special treats for each other... so we don't feel any pressure to make 14th Feb 'special' - we have loads of special days that are spontaneous and thoughtful because we want to, not because we have to:)
With that said... I was so pleasantly surprised and completely not expecting Lewy to come home with a bottle of wine and a rose :) What was even cuter, was he asked me to shut my eyes and Sam bought me the beautiful flower. I'm such a romantic at heart, and gushed for ages over the sweetness of it all. I'm so easily pleased :)

Lovely pics and great to see a pic of Claire and her lil bubs...very cute!! Well well...your hubby is just full of surprises, well done Lewy...and love the pic...very very romantic!! I bet you guys have had a wonderful night!! xox
Woohoo I'm a blog-star!! ;-) It was great to see you, so glad we got to do it after all those set-backs! It could so easily have not happened! I'd totally forgotten it was valentines day - how sweet of Lewy!!
