Day 355 Christmas Party

I think today may have been more tiring than the 17.2km walk yesterday! What an afternoon!!

It was the boys daycare Christmas Party.. complete with Magician show, face painting, afternoon tea, shaving cream fight and of course, Santa!

The kids in each room sang some Christmas songs to the parents...

Then outside for some afternoon tea...

That pizza? DELISH!

The mascot came out for some hugs and High 5's... can you see those little arms grasping on at the bottom? That's Jacob .. completely obsessed!

MESSY but the kids had a great time!

The Magician. Ummm, the kids liked her. The parents (or actually it might have just been Lewy and I?!) thought she was a bit....much. :P

Face painting! Sam was a blue spiderman...

Finally, Santa arrived. By this stage, the kids were all getting tired, the parents were definitely getting tired! But it was worth the wait :) Sam was hilarious. He got up to get his present and said Hi to Santa, then came over to us to open it up. He got some books, and went straight back to Santa to show him the book, touch his beard and generally just stand there chatting with him. We had to explain that other kids were waiting for their presents and he had to say goodbye. Love it!

Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of Jacob, I tried to but he was totally over it and wanted to grab his present and get the heck out of there! ha!

The kids had a blast, it was great to see them having such a good time. Lewy and I... well, we are happy to be putting our feet up now! Great day overall :)

I still have to post up the recipe for the yummy curry we made last night.. but the recipe book is allllll the way in the kitchen and I'm on the couch.. so, yeah,it's not gonna happen :P

The busy week continues!

P.S Thanks for all your lovely congratulations on my new job!

FUN! What a great place you've found for those kiddos. Will they be going there when you're working?
