Day 350 Ain't nothin' gonna to break my stride

Day 350... can you believe I've only got 15 days left of this crazy challenge I set myself?! Wow. A crazy year to go along with the crazy challenge :P

My posts are beginning to look the same, please forgive me if I'm boring the heck out of you all!

Today we decided to slow things down a little and have a rest day. Rest days can still involve a nice family walk through John Forrest though :P

Da, da, duuuummmmm..... THE TUNNEL. Surprisingly, I wasn't the least bit scared this time. Which is largely due to the fact that I had my big, strong husband walking with me... so if any killers were lurking, he could go all 'Protective Dad/Husband' on them. :D

Let me just say this... it's a whole lot easier going walking when it's just Lewy and I!

Sam: "I'm gonna ride my bike"
Sam: "I wanna walk now"
Sam: "I don't wanna walk, I wanna ride my bike"
Sam: "Can I sit in Jacob's seat?"
Sam: "I want to waaaaaalk"

Fun times!!

After the outing, it was time for food shopping. That was almost as good a work out as the walk was! The boys were getting tired and Sam was... well, he was Sam!

I officially announce this song as Sam's Anthem:

"Ain't nothin' gonna to break my stride
Nobody's gonna slow me down, oh-no
I got to keep on movin'
Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride
I'm running and I won't touch ground
Oh-no, I got to keep on movin'"

By the time we got through the checkout, Lewy and I were exhausted!

One positive though, is Sam enjoys responsibility and talking to anyone and everyone.. so I set him to task of buying stamps for some letters to post. He thought it was basically the best thing ever. :) (Claire, that's your beyondblue package and Christmas Card that Sam is posting :) )

NOW it's really time for resting :P Our afternoon will only consist of resting and prepping for our BBQ tonight. I haven't had a drink for what seems like ages, so I'm going to enjoy a nice glass of white while Lewy cooks our delicious dinner. Ahhh, this is the life. :D

Happy, happy days!

PS: Photos such as this one of Sam, always turn me to mush!! It's like the one of him sitting in Sunday School clutching his 50c piece... I will never forget that photo! Just look at him standing there in line waiting to pay - BLESS!
